Indian Roller

Indian Roller is a very common  bird in Indian Union and can be found in rural sides where grass lands or cultivated lands are free from encroachment . Highly beneficial to agriculture since it destroys vast quantities of injuries insects. This striking Oxford-and-Cambridge-blue bird with  rufous-brown breast and a pale blue abdomen and under tail exhibits a brilliant color burst when it take-off from its perch.   

I like this bird for its brilliant color and always wanted to take a photograph of this bird.
