Oriental Magpie-Robin

கருப்பு-வெள்ளைக் குருவி; Copsychus saularis

Today I photographed this but I don't know the name of the bird. I know it could not be Indian Robin. Robin  male will be black in color with white wing patch. Also it was slightly bigger than Robin. I thought it could be Large Pied Wagtail. I almost convinced but when I checked at Salim Ali' s book and Dr. K. Rathnam's book I noticed the prominent white eye brow of Wagtail is missing in this bird. Then I was clueless. Then when I was flipping  the pages of Salim Ali's book, I found out. This was single; took a bath and went away. Magpie Robins were widely kept as cagebirds for their singing abilities and for fighting in India in the past.
